  1. With deepest symphaty for Professor Rokiah’s family. The world have lost one of the Gem with heart like an angel. I pray for Allah swt bless her soul and place her among the Aulias in Jannah. InsyaAllah..

One has said, she has completed her duty here on earth and now Allah swt wants her back.

    you’ll be missed.

    Alfatihah…

  3. My family and I are deeply saddened to learn of Rokiah’s passing. Rokiah and I worked very closely when we were postgraduate students with Prof CRW Edwards at The Western General Hospital Edinburgh. We mourn her untimely loss and extend our deepest sympathy to her loved ones and her family.

    • Aslm WR WB Dear Mazlina,

Prof Rokiah and I were once upon a time-in the mid 80s-co-workers in the old Ward 4A of UHKL (UMMC). She was the MO and I was one of the HOs. She taught me many things -about Internal Medicine and more importantly, about attitude and humility. Her concern and kindness made housemanship a breeze. We kept in touch intermittently over the years but did not really have the chance to meet more often as we’re in different specialties. And then I moved and worked abroad. I know it’s late but still please do accept my condolence. (I only just found out today).

      To Him we return,
      Wasalam
